Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to look at our lovely school.

Situated at the heart of the beautiful village of Shipham, on the edge of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, our small yet dynamic school provides an exceptionally caring and nurturing learning environment in which we aim to make all learners, aged from 2 to 9 years old, feel happy, secure and safe.

We are a small team and aim to work closely with our families and community to enable the development of the whole child, focusing on their emotional, spiritual and moral as well as academic development. At Shipham Church of England First School, we believe that school should be a time when every child has a chance to shine.
